A fruit that's death to taste: dark flesh, dark parings.

Autumn is around the corner and the shades of wine and plum grow more tempting towards its arrival. Autumn always makes me long for dark purple shades. And oh how I love purple! It draws me to it in nature, flowers and fruit, in lipsticks and eye shadows and in hair, although I don't dye mine anymore.
If I would, I'd probably dye it purple.

My sister kindly took these outfit pics in the garden while we were visiting our childhood home.
Although I love all the apple trees and berry bushes my favourite thing in the garden must be this odd purple bush! Especially when the evening sun pierces its leaves or morning dew glistens on them like frost. If I ever get that garden of my dreams, it will most likely glow with the purple hues of these plants.

  2. Um, ajattelin vain kertoa, että olet tosi kaunis ja siitä lähtien kun löysin blogisi olen ajatellut että Eragon kirjasarjan Arya haltija näyttää sinulta. Tai sinä näytät Aryalta. En tiedä. Ok. Kiitos kun oot olemassa, elämä tuntuu vähän enemmän fantasia maailmalta. ❤

  5. The colours of the plant are amazing, and the glitter makes it look like it belongs in a fairytale.

And you look beautiful as always, very witchy! ♥

    1. Aww, witchy is a great compliment, thank you! ^^ I added contrast in the photos so the colors pop up a little bit more in these pics than in real life. It was weird to see that glittery dew on the leaves in the morning, it looked like frost although the day was sizzling hot. Magical!

    1. Kulmaluulla on Sugarpillin valkoista Takoa ja musta on saman puljun Bulletproof, tuo violetinpunainen sävy puolestaan on Grimasin 681-sävy. Muistaakseni blendasin joukkoon vielä hitusen Sugarpillin Poison Plumia, mutta sävyt tulee kuitenkin enimmäkseen tuosta Grimasin napista, se sävy on mielettömän ihana. :)

  8. Oih ♥ tykkään myös violetista ja lilasta ♥
Tosin omaan ihon sävyyn sopivat paremmin lämpöisemmät sävyt enemmän.

    Kauniita kuvia! ^__^

    1. Thank you! I think it's called Berberis, at least that's what another commentor said and Google proved her right. :) I don't know what variation this bush is.

    1. Kiitoksia!

    1. Thank you so much! <3 The plant's genus is called Berberis, but I'm not sure about this exact plant's variation.

  15. I love the pictures. You look stunning :) The bush is a Berberis or am I wrong? There are so many beautiful dark purple flowers to grow. I am dreaming of a garden too. For now I will have to settle with my balcony. My love and I almost bought a house with a big garden this spring but it all went up in smoke when the bank didn`t lend us the full amount :`(

    1. Oh thank you! I googled Berberis and you're right, it seems to be the same plant!

I'm so sorry to hear that your plans went to ruin, I'm sure it feels awful. I truly hope you will get that house with a garden soon! :) I also dream of a big garden and long to plant flowers and trees in the ground, but there's not even a balcony in this apartment, let alone a garden. Boo!

    1. You're making me blush hon, but no one's perfect. Still, thank you! <3

It is my natural colour, I wouldn't lie about it. It just appears darker in these photos because of the contrast and the colours, and the sun wasn't shining. You can see it more naturally in the previous posts. :)

  21. You must have chosen your eyeshadow to match the Berberis bushes! The little pierce of garden from your child hood home that we see on the picture looks so adorable, with the hanging petunia's and pink geraniums. It looks so romantic!

    1. Actually I picked the Berberis as a background because my new eyeshadow was the same shade. :D Anyway, it felt like a good combo and I've wanted to take pictures of that bush for a long time, but always forgot to do it.

Maybe I should take more pics about the garden, there's also a looot of lilies and roses and other flowers in there!

    2. O yes! Please do take more pictures of that cute garden! I am curious about it. :) <3 flowers

  22. What a stunning look, I'm a huge fan of purple. It's probably my favorite eyeshadow shade. The apartment I'll be moving into later this month doesn't have a balcony - I'll have to stick to indoor plants. I'd love to have my own garden someday. I enjoy all the shades of autumn, but I think my favorite would have to be that beautiful coppery red that many leaves turn. :)
