4: Fatigue

Sleep flooded over me after a long day, so yesterday's post comes a little late!

(Mad as she may be, I join Ms.DuBois on her opinion!)

Just a glimpse on yesterday's look (I always get a vicious school girl vibe when wearing my Wednesday dress!), my current coffee cup favourite (thank you second hand pixies for this treasure), and a movie line that circled in my head the whole day, so that by the night I simply had to watch it (the Streetcar Named Desire, 1951).

I wish I could somehow shake off this fatigue that has been dancing around me the whole week. No amount of green smoothies and vitamin D has helped, oddly enough. I feel like I could sleep for days, but I have way too much to do to be able to cradle up in deep somnium. Makes me wish I was a cat! Anyone else feeling the pressure of winter?

    1. I agree! I found it from flea market some time ago. At last a coffee cup that is big enough. :>

  5. I've just moved to Berlin from Italy... the winter here ist not arrived yet, but it is already killing me! So yeah, I perfectly get the feeling. More hot chocolates and blankets for us :) And, by the way, I saw you some weeks ago here, on the metro... but you were so beautiful that I didn't know what to say to you!

    2. Eipä mullakaan onneksi mistään masennusmeiningistä ole kyse, vaan ihan puhtaasta fyysisestä väsymyksestä. Kun ei nuku tarpeeks niin ei nuku. Saa nähdä kuinka monta vuotta vielä menee siihen, että oppii menemään ajoissa sänkyyn, hah :D

  8. I'm more like and occasional reader of your blog, but I guess you should listen to your body and sleep as much as you need to... Last year I've also seemed to develop a need to sleep more than I used to in order to function normally. I suppose my body is not recovering that fast with age ;)

    Cheers from Poland!

    1. Hmm, I think I should sleep for a day or two! It's abnormal how our society forces people to wake up too soon, I think the natural sleeping schedule would be better. :)

  9. Maybe you should take a little rest. I've been having the same problem for a month now, not having the energy to post something on my blog and stuff. Hope you'll feel better soon!

    1. I think I should, but there's a few things I have to finish before taking a proper rest. But I won't stress about those things, so maybe that will help a little. :) Hope you'll feel better soon too!

  10. My best remedy to winter laziness/fatigue/lack of drive is magnesium supplements. I've experienced the worst last winter, I completely lost envy for anything, work was a nightmare. This year, I run smoothly across autumn, and winter seems so beautiful to me eyes that I want to enjoy the dark and the cold.
I really advise you to add this to your daily diet during the winter, you'll see the difference!

    1. Damn, I eat magnesium supplements too. I guess this state is only because my body hasn't yet adjusted to the darkness, and I haven't just slept enough. :)
