One of the things we did on our little trip was checking out the bat show in the Museum of Natural History. Something that's impossible to pass if you happen to be a goth, lover of bats or possess an undying fascination for nature documentaries. Especially if you're all of the above.
I expected to see stuffed batlings, skeletons and an information package to nourish the missing gaps in the bat knowledge, and I got that, but the exhibition was also surprising in the most positive way! There were stories from the occult side of the history of bats and even a Batman suit and a selection of the dishes that different bats devour, wow. And bats are nocturnal creatures, so naturally it was very dark in the exhibition space.
