Woods to Conjure

We took a walk in the nearby forest the other day. Treading through those paths is like walking down actual memory lanes, as I used to play there really often as a child and poured many good memories on those paths.

Here's what I was wearing.
My love said I reminded him of Hecate and I took that as a great compliment, hehe! Although I am lucky to have only one head instead of three. Couldn't get much sleep from all the chattering of three separate extroverted minds, now could I? Sometimes even this one feels like too much to handle!

The Ovate hoodie is possibly my most used garment of this year, it always makes me feel like a modern druidess! The gigantic hood is like a safe haven in the storms and glares of the world. The other parts of the outfit don't fall far from the tree, it seems like I live in these items most of the time. (Well, the earrings and the tunic at least.)

There was something strangely medieval in this look when I added them all in one, but I quite like it!

earrings ~ Blood Milk  /  hoodie ~ Ovate  /  transformer tunic ~ Noctex
harness ~Tyra Therman  /  leggings ~ second hand (Zara)
wedge boots ~ mom's

I love the stillness of nature when the frost creeps upon the leaves and branches, breath leaves your lungs in steaming clouds and cold pinches the insides of your veins. The feel of the frozen moss crunching beneath your feet invokes the same rapture as the noise of crackling ice when you tread on it. (In puddles, not in lakes.)

The joy of the first frost lasted only two days - today the ground has already been invaded by the cold, white light of virgin snow. Farewell, high heels and bare skin. Brrr, I sense some snow photos in the near future!

    1. Oh, we have tons of frost now that the snow fell to the ground! That's not cool for Samhain either, we should find a proper autumnal middle ground somewhere. :)

    1. Suosittelen! Iso huppu on aika mahtava juttu, mietin jo pitäisikö tätä hupparia hommata pari varastoon kun tämä tulee kuitenkin jossain vaiheessa nyhjättyä loppuunsa. :) Ihmettelen myös noita minihuppuja mitä yleensä näkee, näyttää ihan joltain vauvanmyssyiltä, yh!

  9. I love this season even if it's too short. The leaves has already fallen and the first snowflakes as well.
Your outfit is well composed, I think the harness goes well with the medeival theme, with a modern touch.

  14. Everytime I see your hands - I can't stop thinking about your manicures, it's gorgeus. Very interesting for me would be to learn something about your hand care and nail polish routines.
