14: Library of dreams

I guess that most little girls, when watching the Beauty and the Beast, wished for an everlasting love story. But I think the library that Beast gave to Belle was pretty damn brilliant and equally desirable, too.

Last month something remotely similar crossed my eyes in Vienna, and I wish to share a few glimpses with you. I had never seen a library of this magnitude so it was a true delight for a bookworm, although touching the books and climbing the stairs was strictly prohibited. I'd take a smaller version of this in my home anytime! ♥

    Minä olen myös toivonut saavani joskus Bellen kirjaston, vaan en ole vielä. Tuo kirjasto Viennassa on kaunis! Sinne ei sovi aku ankat tai rakkausromaani pokkarit, vaan kirjojen täytyy olla nahkaselkäisiä. Siltä minusta tuntuu :)

      Siltä siellä näyttikin, ainakin mitä katselin niin kaikki opukset näyttivät vanhoilta ja nahkakantisilta. Tuollaisen miniversion kun kotiin saisi, oih <3

      Oh, no problem! There's a small entrance fee to the library, just mentioning it so it doesn't come as a surprise. I wish you a wonderful time in Vienna! :)

    I'm (hopefully) going to Vienna this Friday. :) I've been there a few times before. This time, a friend of mine who has just started studying there is going to show us some places. I wonder where he's gonna take us. I only know we'll stop at Christmas markets. :) Is there something else worth visiting you'd suggest except of this breathtaking library?

      Oh, I wish you have a wonderful time in Vienna! I was there only for one day, so there's not much that I know about the place. Just visited a couple of places in the centre of the city and walked on the streets, so I'm sure you know much more about the city than I do. :)

    Oon aina haaveillut omasta kirjastohuoneesta ja varsinkin nyt kun asun solussa ja kaikki mun kirjat lojuu sängyn alla, toimittaa kenkätelineen virkaa, on vaatekaapissa... :D

      Kirjastohuone olisi tosiaan kullanarvoinen, alkaa omassakin kämpässä kirjat valtaamaan alaa ikkunalaudoilta, lattioilta ja milloin mistäkin. :)

      You know, I actually know where there is a library almost exactly like the one in Beauty and the Beast! It's in Austria too, but in Admont Benedictine Monastery. I neeeed to get there too someday!
