I hope the photos will speak for themselves as my words seem to fail me with this place! I'd suggest not to scroll down further if you feel uneasy about human bones.
Tourist! My bones are still hidden. |
It's horrible, but I think this one looks like a band promo pic. |
Absolutely beautiful. Bones are one of my favourite things.
ReplyDeleteI very much want to go to this place!!

Beautiful photos! We visited the bone church & I found it so difficult to capture it in detail. I wanted to get a 360 degree photo! Also there were so many tourists it was hard to get photos without them in it.
ReplyDeleteA 360 photo would be so cool! We were lucky to have only a handful of tourists visiting the place, so snapping those pics wasn't too much of a challenge. :)
DeleteSeems so empty when you were there. I went there last year in summer and the place was packed with tourists.
ReplyDeleteNovember is a good travelling month, I don't like crowded tourist attractions at all and winter makes them more empty. :)
DeleteEn tiennyt että tuollainen paikka voisi olla :o vähänkö hienoo ois päästä näkemään.
ReplyDeleteWau, todella upeita kuvia ! Kade, tuonne kun pääsisi itsekkin ♡
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! I didn't even know such place exists. Thank you ♥
ReplyDeleteThat church is so impressing. I wish I could go there and see it with my own eyes.
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks incredible. I have to visit this place.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Have you ever seen this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYOyvg5t7qI I absolutely love this filmmaker
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that, but I have seen his version on Alice in Wonderland! It's scary and trippy, and I really liked it, haha! Maybe I should get to know more of his work.
Deletewoooow! :O
ReplyDeletenow i really want to go there, its amazing!
Wow! Very very awesome! I sooo want to go there!

Tuo on kyllä yksi hienoimmista mestoista ikinä! Ja ollut ikuisuuden places to go -listalla Angkor Watin kanssa. Ja huikeat on kuvat!
ReplyDeleteAngkor Wat, ooh! Sinne pitää päästä vielä! Maailma on niin pullollaan mahtavia paikkoja ettei yksi ihmiselämä taida riittää.
DeleteI was there last winter, extremely beautiful and dark place <3 and Kutna Hora as well. But your photos are absolutely stunning, love them :)
ReplyDeleteThat is mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteIn Portugal we have one similar like that, it is called, Chapel of Bones: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capela_dos_Ossos

I didn't know of that, thanks for the link! :)
DeleteHeck, I live so close to Kutna Hora that I should actually go and visit the ossuary... We have a similar chapel in Poland, Kudowa Zdrój (100 km away from Kutna Hora), but not as impressive :)
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely go there! And I didn't know about that place, thanks for the info. :)
DeleteI always wanted to go in this church, once, I'll travel to it !
ReplyDeletethanks for reminding me some things I have to see !
Wow. This is amazingly stunning. I hope I get a chance to go there myself one day.
ReplyDeleteMahtavan näköinen paikka :O Tuonne pitää ehdottomasti joskus eksyä!
ReplyDeleteOH. MY. LORD <3
ReplyDeleteWow, this is totally awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That must be truly wonderful to see in person!
ReplyDeleteSimplesmente fantástico! :)
ReplyDeleteHuh, ihan älyttömän näköstä!!
ReplyDeleteYou look right at home there, these are some of the loveliest photos i've seen of the place!
ReplyDeleteToi paikka on kyllä niin upea, luurankokirkkojen historiakin on mielettömän mielenkiintoista ^^
ReplyDeleteSince now this place is number one on my "must see" list!
ReplyDeleteOnpa upea paikka!
DeleteThank you all for your comments! ♥
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning place! I didn't know the existence of this chapel, its history is fascinating. Can't imagine the atmosphere, must be almost surreal.
ReplyDeleteKisses!
Minä olen käynyt tuolla Prahassa lomaillessani joitain vuosia sitten. Oli kyllä sen reilun tunnin bussimatkan arvoinen. Kalmanhajuista, mutta jotenkin todella oudolla tavalla kaunista!
ReplyDeleteYes, we have something like that in Poland too :) If you like to visit strange and odd places you should also visit Poland someday. We have here a lot of creepy places! You will love giant Wawel Castle with graves of many great kings and queens, the Dragon's Lair, people buried with no grave and still looking like alive, marvelous giant castle made of salt many feets underground (it was an ispiration for Moria Mines from LOTR movie), the Auschwitz Death Block and - my favourite - Angel of Death in Wroclaw :D
