Meooow! Here's a commission work I did for a friend a little while ago. The beloved vanishing cat from Alice in Wonderland that grins like a.. well, like a Cheshire Cat. It turned out to be even scarier than I planned, but that's a good thing you know. I loved to paint those tiny razor sharp teeth and pink details!

Uskomaton *__* <3
ReplyDeleteOikeasti, jotenkin olen joulunaikaan aina erityisen altis kaiken Alice in Wonderland-teemaisen ihastelulle ja suorastaan hysteeriselle hehkutukselle. Tämä blogi on vaarallinen paikka...
Kiitoksia! Juu täällä ei hirveesti voi tuota aihepiiriä vältellä. :D
Deleteupea!
ReplyDeleteKiitos!
DeleteThe colours are so pretty, and i love how you painted the 'We're all mad here' on it <3
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Jessica!

DeleteI love how you did the fur on his chest!Did you paint all the matryoshka's on blog?
ReplyDeleteThanks! Of course I've designed and painted all of them. :)
DeleteIhana!
ReplyDeleteMeoow indeed :) Did that matryoshka have those ears beforehand or did you create those yourself? Beautiful work! -T
ReplyDeleteThank you! The kitty did have those ears before it got to me. :)
DeleteThat is so freaking awesome! I wish it were mine! O__o ~♥~
ReplyDeleteThank you! This kitty purrrs happily in my friend's home now, but I do make commissions. ;)
DeleteVoi miten ihana! :) Voiko symppiksempää maatuskaa ollakkaan, suloinenhan tuo on kuin mikäkin... ♥

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Cherise! :)
DeleteVoi miten ihana! ^^ oot kyllä hirmu taitava
ReplyDeleteVoi kiitoksia! :')
DeleteMitä värejä ja lakkaa sä mahdat käyttää näiden maalaamiseen? Oon yrittäny tuherrella jotakin yhden maatuskan pintaan, ja jälki tuppaa olemaan ihan hirvittävää katseltavaa ja epäilen että tää johtuu osittain huonoista välineistä. Voisitko hieman raottaa salaisuuksiesi arkkua näiden suhteen? :3
DeleteFabulous :) I only miss some whiskers here, but even without the whiskers there is mAlice lurking in his eyes. And what a contrast it is between his soft fur and this spooky grin :)
ReplyDeleteWhere do you get the unpainted matryoshkas?
Thank you! I tried the whiskers on it but it got too messy for my taste, so that's why they're missing. :) I've received only a couple of unpainted ones as a present, so mostly I work on second hand matryoshkas.
DeleteMillä toteutit työsi? :)
ReplyDeleteTaikakeinoilla!
DeleteWow, this is pretty cool. Love her teeth!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSun blogis on niin mahatava :D Ja mielettömän hienoja noi sun maatuskat ja maalaukset.
ReplyDeleteUi, ihana kuulla! Kiitoksia :>
DeleteWonderful, you probably could sell those.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I do sell these. :)
