24: Red


My hunch was wrong, Sandman rudely lured me away before I managed to share these outfit pics from last night. We have a tradition in our family to dress up a little for the Yule dinner. I went casually with bare feet, a few mild curls and code red for the holidays' sake. (The dress is an old Stop Staring second hand find, in case someone wishes to know.)

Dorothy nails. I snapped my fingers three times and I was home!


 Odd fact of the moment; I can't get this song out of my head today. It just echoes and echoes and echoes in my mind in a crude way. "It's like dying on Christmas Day". My subconscious seems to be in a jolly festive mood!

      I don't think anyone can say what's the key element in "success". Personally I haven't aimed for any success, I've never promoted my blog anywhere and I'm shamefully lazy at commenting (I wish to change that though, but I just always forget to comment!) I think blogs are best when people behind them just do something that feels genuine for themselves, and write about the things they truly enjoy and what inspires them. :)

    Saakohan sulle laittaa tänne kommenttia suomeksi? :D No mä teen niin, koska mun englannin kielen taito ei ole ihan sieltä parhaimmasta päästä... :) Ootko muuten ikinä aatellut aloittaa kirjoittamaan taas suomeksi(kin)? Ymmärrän kyllä englantia, mutta oishan se kiva suomeksi lukea. :)

      No tottahan toki saa! Mun mielestä aina luonnollisempaa jos suomalaiset kommentoi suomeksi. :) Monet on kyselleet aionko vielä kirjoittaa suomeksi ja vieläkin tuntuu siltä että en. Kaksikielisyys vei mun mielestä liikaa aikaa, ja mulle on jotenkin aina taipunnut englannin kirjoittaminen helpommin, tuntuu luonnollisemmalta kuin lukijoita on niin eri puolilta maailmaa. Mut kenties vielä joku päivä!

      Ja kiitos ihanista sanoistasi! Lämmittää mieltä kuulla että jotain mukavaa fiilistä välittyy ruudun toiselle puolelle. :)
      Lana Del Reyta on jonkun verran tullut kuultua, ainakin Summertime Sadness ja A Star for Nick vanhemman tuotannon puolelta iskee omaan makuhermoon. Onnellista uutta vuotta sullekin!
