Once in a while I get this odd feeling that tries to force me into pairing vintage looks with massive, gothy boots. And I obey it, especially because the two are not an obvious match! Opposites always hold a certain fascination, even in style. So here's one of those outfits, taken today on a leisurely Sunday stroll that turned into grocery hunting.
Boots are second hand Pennangalans (I like to call them Edward), tarot earrings from BloodMilk, coat is an old gift from mom, gloves from Sokos, bag is vintage and scarf thrifted.
Ok, now I really must stop this blogging business and get back to the drawing
commission that I must finish t-o-d-a-y. Or the hounds of hell will come and claim me.
Ta ta loves! ♥
That last picture is too good!
ReplyDeleteHehe, thanks!
DeleteLove the outfit an you are so so pretty! I am a true believer that even in our winters you can look pretty and still be warm.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much! I believe in that too, staying warm doesn't mean that one should throw style out of the equation.
DeleteGorgeous boots! Not to mention the rest of your outfit.. You are breath-taking. Your blog is one of my absolute favourites :)

OH my, thank you for your sweet words Teresa! You made me smile! <3
DeleteSuch a beautiful outfit, especially love the scarf and coat!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
Deletemay i ask how long is your hair? in centimetres?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea, I haven't measured it! But I'd estimate it's over 70cm at the moment?
DeleteI envy your skills to be able to walk in the snow with those high heels! It scares me a lot, I only wear docs in snow.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you glow when snow is around you, those pics are perfect :)
Thank you! Winter soles in high heels help with the snow, but I admit, they're still a little slippery and I need to mind my step a little more than usual. I would be scared to wear docs in snow, I've heard from my friends that the rubber soles are super slippery? And I couldn't wear docs anyway, I tried them on a couple of times but the arch in my foot is too curved for them and so they hurt a lot. :(
DeleteI woudn't say docs are slippery. I have a very sure step when I wear them. You can't wear docs, but you can wear heels! I'm forced to wear flats for the rest of my life or I might end up not walking at all when I'm 60. I envy you for your heeled looks! It's way more tricky to be feminine with flats.
DeleteI love your hair! ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you! ^^
DeleteIhanainen asu ihanaisella naisella ♥
ReplyDeleteEdward-popot on kyllä aivan mahtavat! :D
~ Frillycakes ♥ ~
Voi kiitos, ihana! <3 Edwardit on ehtineet jo eläkeikään, en edes muista kuinka monta vuotta nuo on kaapissa asustelleet. :)
DeleteI'am always wondering how could you walk with these heels in the snow? If I would do that, I would immediately hit the ground! :D By the way, this is a very lovely coat and I'm sorry for what's happen to your others.
ReplyDeleteA good sense of balance and winter soles help a lot! ;) And thank you, I'm glad the thieves left me even something to fight off the cold of winter.
DeleteHi! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so pretty! *_*
I love your looks in the blog! And i wish it was snow here in Brazil, that even in the winter isn't cold enought to wear this kind of cloths! :/
To see snow and wear this cloths is a dream for me <3
So, you're my inspiration!
love the blog <3
*sory for any english mistakes
Thanks so much for your wonderful comment! <3 I'm very happy to hear you enjoy my blog, and don't mind about any mistakes, I'm not a native speaker either. :) If you enjoy snow, you should definitely travel North someday! Winter can be magical here, if you come at the right time.

Varmaan muakin odottaa Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli -maraton joululomalla ! :)
ReplyDeleteKannattaa ehdottomasti katsoa Mononoke! Se on aivan mahtava!
DeleteYou look so beautiful... Fantastic earrings and shoes! :)
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much!
DeleteOlet aivan sanoinkuvaamattoman upea. Mitkä nuo kengät ovat?
ReplyDeleteKaunis kiitos ihanasta kehaisusta! <3 Kengät löytyi monta vuotta sitten käytettynä, mutta alunperin ne on Pennangalanin tuotantoa.
DeleteHello!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're gorgeous :) I just love your blog.
And about your boots, I'm trying to find one of those for sale on the Internet for so long :( Where did you bought yours? Thanks :)
